Puji Temple

Daxi Puji Temple, set against the distant river and hills, was inspired by my deep admiration for the spiritual and historical significance of this location. The contrast between the ornate temple gates and the serene natural landscape reflects a peaceful coexistence between tradition and nature, something I wanted to bring forward in this artwork. I chose to work in ink to capture the fine details of the temple’s architecture, while the soft lines of the distant hills create a sense of calm and openness. I hope viewers feel a connection to the rich cultural heritage of Taiwan while also experiencing the tranquil beauty of Daxi’s natural surroundings.

This artwork will bring an air of serenity and history to any space, inviting contemplation and appreciation of both the spiritual and natural worlds.
